The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki commended the conference entitled "Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Dialogue and its Impact on Promotion of Human Values" scheduled to start its activities in Geneva on Wednesday within the framework of the "Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for Dialogue among Followers of Religions". In a press conference held in Geneva on Monday, Dr. Al-Turki pointed out that the initiative aims in general to promote the culture of dialogue, noting that there should be convictions and commitment among officials, agencies and institutions concerned with the dialogue. He said, "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wanted that this dialogue should be constructive in accordance with a strategy and a plan which had been endorsed by Makkah Conference. Then the dialogue moved another step through holding the Conference of Followers of Religions and Cultures in Madrid. Then it moved a wider step through submitting the Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Dialogue at a special session of the United Nations." Dr. Al-Turki expressed his thanks to and appreciation of Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information for its distinguished efforts in cooperation with the Muslim World League in relation to conferences and meetings that focus on the Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Dialogue.
