As many as nine Palestinians were wounded by Israeli soldiers and police who stormed the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Al Magharebah Gate, Palestinian sources said today. The sources quoted witnesses as saying that the occupation authorities closed all the gates of the Blessed Mosque of Al Aqsa before storming in, strongly strengthened by soldiers and Israeli police to suppress and disperse the crowds of faithful Palestinians who gathered in the Al Aqsa courtyards since the dawn prayer today to counter any attempt to storm the Mosque by extremist Jewish groups who announced their intention to storm the Mosque today to perform 'Talmudic' rituals on the occasion of the so-called Yom Kippur. The occupation police and soldiers are now storming Al-Aqsa prayer sites, in particular the roofed Qibli Mosque, the Dome of the Rock Mosque and Marwani. Other Israeli Forces fired barrages of tear gas, toxic tear-gas and rubber and live bullets into crowds of worshipers at a time when it is not ascertained the exact number of detainees from the worshipers present at the courtyards of the Blessed Mosque of Al Aqsa. --MORE
