WAMY Provides Assistance to Needy People

The Department of Social Affairs, an affiliate of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) provided in the holy month of Ramadan assistance worth more than SR 4 million to the poor and needy people as well as orphans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Department's Director Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Assem has pointed out that the assistance included cash money amounting to SR 363,000 provided to 336 needy persons; 12,000 food baskets worth SR1.8 million, 14,000 Zakat (Alms) bags worth SR 1.68 million and 10,000 school bags.
