Report: Invested Capital in Factories totals SR 359.5 billion

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has paid three visits to Jubail Industrial City since he took office in 1426H in support of the industrial sector and inaugurated mega projects at a cost of SR 200 billion in addition to the establishment of two industrial cities during his prosperous era.
Statistics obtained by The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) showed that the number of factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stood at 4, 167 by the end of 2008 with an invested capital of SR 359.5 billion.
The statistics indicated that the number of employees and workers in these factories rose to about 467,000.
