Jordan's Senate president meets French ambassador

Senate President Zeid Rifai discussed today with French Ambassador to Jordan Corinne Breuze cooperation between Jordan and France.
Rifai hailed relations between the two countries and stressed France's role within the European Union to bring about security and stability in the Middle East, according to a report of 'PETRA' - the Jordanian news agency.
Talks during the meting also touched on preparations for a visit of a delegation from the French-Jordanian Friendship Committee at the French Senate to Jordan during September 25-30.
The ambassador stressed her country's keenness to boost cooperation with Jordan in various fields.
She also hailed Jordan's pivotal role in the Middle East.
