Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Asheikh received at his office in Makkah a number of Arab and Muslim Scholars currently visiting the Kingdom. During the meeting, Sheikh Saleh conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud wishing them a happy stay in the Kingdom. He also delivered a speech in which he urged the scholars exert every effort to stop the distortion campaign aimed at defaming Islam and Muslims. He also discussed the role of media to promote moderation. The scholars, in turn, expressed their appreciation at the invitation. They also extended their thanks to the King for sponsoring dialog. -- SPA
