The President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali met here today with Somali Minister of Education Ahmed Abdullah and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Somalia and the Bank's role in assisting the Somali people, especially in the areas of education, health and human services. Dr. Ali said that the Bank is keen on assisting in uniting the ranks of the Somali people and on providing security and stability to them to achieve their cherished objectives of economic and social development, adding that the bank is also keen on providing textbooks for Somali students in various stages of education.
