The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has granted an urgent aid package worth $ 536,000 to purchase medical supplies for Mogadishu hospitals and facilitate food supplies for refugees affected from wars. Dr.Ahmed Mohamed Ali, the IDB President urged all relief organizations to assist the refugees in Somalia in advance before the infectious diseases and starvations kill most of them. The IDB's total assistance provided so far for Somalia accounted for $67 Millions.
