A Palestinian official warned today that the tunnels that are drilled by the occupying Israeli authorities under the foundations of Al Aqsa Mosque in Al Quds City (Jerusalem) have become a threat to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the surrounding areas. Ahmed Al Rowaidhi, The Chief of Al Quds Unit at the Palestinian presidency, said in a statement that the network of tunnels pose a significant threat to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they reached the foundations of the mosque. He expressed concern about a natural or artificial jolt by Israel in order to make the Blessed Mosque of Al Aqsa and nearby houses collapse, leading to a real disaster.
