Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, The Minister of Culture and Information, inked here today contracts with six local companies with total value of SR 314 million. The signed contracts included the establishment of three TV and Radio centers in Hail, Tabouk and Jizan with total amounts of 125,938,272 Riyals to be implemented in a period of eighteen months, the establishment of ten digital TV broadcast stations in Al Henakeyah, msegeed, Al Ahmar,Tarabah, Al Harjah, Balqarn, Ba Al Asmar, Hobouna and Al Mandaq with total amount of 75,529,300. Another contract amounted to 17,706,573 riyals for the supply, delivery and installation of studio equipment for Makkah TV in addition to a contract worth of 20,491,920 to construct a multi-storey car park at the Ministry headquarters in Riyadh. He also signed operation and maintenance contract of television complex and security systems for the ministry's premises in Riyadh worth of 18,360,000 as well as an operation and maintenance of radio transmitting stations in each of the Al Khumrah- Jeddah, Duba and Gurayat and Ras Al-Zour with a value of 56,104,000 Saudi Riyals.
