The 112th periodical meeting of the GCC foreign ministers started deliberations here this evening under the chairmanship of Oman's Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah. Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, led Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. In a key address, the chairman congratulated the members on the holy month of Ramadan, thanking the Kingdom for warm welcome and generous hospitality and wishing the meeting every success. He also congratulated Prince Mohammed bin Naif, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, on his safety from the criminal attempt on his life. He highlighted the agenda of the meeting, including the Palestinian issue, Arab Israeli dispute and other regional and local issues.
