Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi has denied existence of relations between his country and Israel. In a press statement published here today, Bin Alawi said Oman will never take a risk of establishing relations with Israel before the latter takes genuine steps towards attaining peace with the Palestinians. 'The Omani Government has stopped the activities of the Israel commercial office in Muscat due to the continuation of the Israeli war against the Palestinians', he said. On the other hand, Bin Alawi welcomed the outcome of the preparatory meeting for the conference of national reconciliation in Iraq, which ended its deliberations in Cairo on Monday.
