Prince Naif in Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, chaired here last night the second meeting of the Higher Hajj Committee. The participants of the meeting congratulated Prince Naif on the safety of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Interior Minister for security affairs. Prince Naif said the attempt on the life of Prince Mohammed will make the Saudi officials more determined for fighting the deviant thought and for working to dry its sources. Meanwhile, Dr Saed al-Harethi, the advisor of Prince Naif and secretary general of the Hajj Higher Committee, said the topics discussed by the participants of the meeting included means of confronting swine flu and the preventive measures against it. The meeting also reviewed other issues pertaining to the service of the pilgrims and UMRAH (minor hajj) performers. The meeting was attended by Governor of Makkah region Prince Khalid al-Faisal, Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, Prince Mohammed bin Naif, the Assistant Interior Minister for security affairs, Governor of Madinah region Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed, and other senior officials including ministers of Finance, Hajj, Economic and Planning, Culture and Information, Health, Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
