One person is dead and about eight are missing after a sightseeing boat capsized on the Yellow River in north China's Inner Mongolia Region Wednesday, Xinhua quoted firefighters as saying. The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. when the boat with about 14 people aboard overturned in Tuoketuo County, in the regional capital, Hohhot, a spokesman for the city's firefighters said. Rescue workers pulled five survivors and a body from the water. One of the survivors was critically injured. The search for the missing was continuing, said the spokesman. Police have detained the owner of the boat and are investigating the accident.
