A traffic collision triggered an explosion in east China's Jiangxi Province early on Saturday, killing at least three people, Xinhua quoted local authorities as saying. The accident took place at about 4 a.m. on an expressway near Nankang City when a truck loaded with fireworks collided with another truck carrying butter, said a provincial traffic police spokesman. Three people aboard a truck died on the spot, and the casualties of the other truck are being investigated, the spokesman said. Police are looking into the cause of the accident, he said.
