An attempt to smuggle a quantity of Hashish by traffickers who opted to take the road on foot through a mountainous area was foiled by the boarder guard in Najran Region, it was reported here today. The Commander of Border Guard in Najran Region Major General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani, said a patrol belonging to Sarro Sigam complex have detected a group of men coming from the southern direction in a mountainous area at a site called "Giaigea". Felt detected, immediately, they fired at the border guard patrol and fled backwards, leaving 45 kilograms of Hashish. Nobody was hurt among the patrol members, he said.
