Yemen's Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Abdulkarim Yahya has announced the death of the first case of swine flu (H1 N1) of a Yemeni man (40 years old) after contacting with one of his relatives who came from the United States of America. In a statement to Yemen News Agency "SABA," the Minister pointed out that the patient started feeling the symptoms of fever, cold and pneumonia on August 10; he was admitted to a private hospital, but his health deteriorated rapidly and he did not respond to medication until he died. It is noteworthy that the number of the N1H1-cases announced in Yemen has reached 16 patients.
