UAE Charity Bodies distribute food aid in Mauritania

The Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation and the UAE Red Crescent Authority have distributed 26 tonnes of foodstuffs in Mauritania ahead of advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The UAE Embassy in Mauritania in coordination with the Mauritanian Foreign Ministry delivered food aid to the local authorities in Tintane city, which is located 700km away from the capital.
The state governor in Tintane thanked the UAE leadership and people for their assistance to the area hit hard in the recent weeks by the flood, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM".
