Officials: Fatah conference extended to Tuesday

Quds city, JERUSALEM, August 08, SPA -- A Fatah official says they are extending their conference until Tuesday, the Associated Press reported.
Conference official Mohammed Makhlouf said on Saturday
that hundreds of members meeting in the West Bank town of
Bethlehem need more time to discuss Fatah's political
program and elect members to the movement's powerful
committees.
Proceedings were initially meant to end on Thursday.
