Two Yemeni ministers met German and British investigators and diplomats on Friday to discuss the progress of a probe into the kidnap of nine foreigners and the killing of three of the hostages, the state Saba news agency reported. The nine people - seven Germans, a Briton and a South Korean - were taken at gunpoint while on a weekend excursion in the restive north-western Yemeni province of Saada on June 12. Two German theology students and a South Korean female teacher from the group were found dead three days after the abduction in Saada, on the borders with Saudi Arabia. The fate of a German family of five and a British engineer was still unknown, the agency said. Saba said Deputy Prime Minster for Defence and Security Affairs Rashad al-Alimi and Foreign Minister Abu-Bakr al-Qerbi discussed with the investigators "results of the investigations," without giving further details.
