The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabia has expressed the pride and honor of the Kingdom's leadership, Government and people in serving pilgrims, Umrah (minor pilgrimage) performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque. In remarks delivered by the Minister currently on a visit to Tunisia, he stressed that the Kingdom has invested a lot in the area of health services for the visitors of the holy places especially during the holy month of Ramadan and in Hajj season, adding that this year will be exceptional because of the swine flu epidemic. In this regard, he said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued advance directives, outlining that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should set an integrated plan for the swine flu so that it could be one of the first states that opted for such an integrated plan in confronting this disease. The minister highlighted meetings held in this regard including those organized by The Executive Office of Arab Health Ministers as well as the convening of an International Scientific Symposium in Jeddah. --MORE
