The 7-day long annual Air show held under the auspices of The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), concluded yesterday its festivities planned for every summer season at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the United States. The exhibition entitled "EAA AirVenture-Oshkosh" is the largest annual forum for the global aviation industry and introduces new models of the latest types of civil aircraft of various sizes. The EAA AirVenture presented a daily aerobatics show as well as an exhibition of the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger airliner. It also displayed Douglas DC-3 on the occasion of a published book on the life of Captain Joe Grant - 101 years old, who in 1945 flew a Douglas-DC3 aircraft to Saudi Arabia to be delivered as a gift to the late King Abdulaziz from U.S President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Joe Grant also served as plane captain to the late King Abdulaziz.
