The Department of Contracts and Procurement at Municipality of Jeddah Governorate has signed 71 contracts with national companies and establishments for implementing projects in Jeddah during the first half of the current fiscal year 1430H. The Director General of the Municipality's Administrative Affairs Department Tariq Abbas Jamal Abbas pointed out that the projects included maintenance of streets, bridges, tunnels for solving the problem of traffic congestion, development of lighting, flood and rain water drainage and maintenance of public utilities. He noted that contracts have been signed with contractors in accordance with strict conditions to ensure the good quality of works regarding the maintenance of streets leading to Makkah and Madinah.
