The Ministry of Commerce and Industry reiterated today that members of the General Department of Anti-Frauds, confiscated 1091 of REFRIGERATED COOKIE DOUGH PRODUCTS branded "Toll House" for the possibility of contamination of these products with colon bacteria 'Escherichia' coli O157:H7 abbreviated as ( E.COLI 0157:H7). In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry said that this action comes after the announcement of the Saudi Food & Drug Authority SFDA on the basis of a published statement by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that the Nestle Company has retrieved a number of pasta products, refrigerated cookie dough products for the likelihood of contamination with colon bacteria. The ministry also stressed the continuation of the inspections and follow-up tours to ensure that such products are out of the shelves and confiscated if found.
