Prince Mishaal Bin Majed opens First Saudi Publishers' Fair

More than 150 publishing houses and bookstores are participating in first Saudi Publishers' Fair at the Jeddah International Center, which was opened here yesterday by Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah.
Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mishaal bin Majed said
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was entering into the developed world by building Saudi citizens both culturally and scientifically.
“Book fairs are tools Saudi Arabia is using to join the developed world,” he said, adding that he was happy to see the large number of books and publications on display.
