Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Aifan, the Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Syria, expressed gratitude for the royal confidence bestowed on him by the monarch, appointing him as ambassador of his country to the sisterly Arab country. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Aifan thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior for this confidence. He expressed hope he could succeed in his mission, vowing to exert the utmost effort to do whatever contributes to enhancing the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Syria.
