Saudi Arabia selected for headquarters of CANSO Regional Office

The Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) selected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the headquarters of its regional office in the Middle East.
The selection of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came during the third annual meeting of CANSO which was recently held in San Diego, United States of America and hosted by the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA).
"Selecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the headquarters of CANSO Regional Office is attributed to the Kingdom's pioneering role in the field of civil aviation industry at regional level", CANSO said.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the first countries in the Middle East that joined CANSO to benefit from its expertise in the field of air navigation.
