Three militants were killed during a special operation in Dagestan's Karabudakhkent district, the press service of the republic's Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. One serviceman of the Interior Ministry died in the shoot-out. “At night the Interior Ministry's special task force clashed with a group of militants in the forest area near the village of Gubden,” the source said. Three militants put up resistance and were killed. The area, where other militants supposedly remain, was blocked. The search operation is underway. No information about the number of militants was reported so far.
