Saudi Newspapers, in their editorials, today affirmed that the current inspection tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz to the Madinah region, would consolidate further cohesion among the leadership and the citizens as well as bring about sustainable development in various sectors and growth of the region. The Jeddah-based Al-Madinah, commenting on the inspection tours of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz said such tours positively contribute to cementing relations between the leadership and the citizens. "Moreover, these tours of the Kingdom's beloved King will pave way for laying the foundation stone for more development projects in a manner that accelerates the wheel of development in the country". "These development projects will shift the Kingdom from the stage of the developing countries to the stage of the developed countries and improve the standard of living of the citizens". The paper reiterated that the development in the Kingdom will not be at the expense of the noble principles of Islam which are characterized by moderation and tolerance. It said the King will launch in Yanbu development and industrial projects at a total cost of about SR 45 billion including YANSAB project which is expected to attract local and foreign investments and pave the way for the transference of technology to the region. "Despite the global economic crisis facing the contemporary world, the Kingdom is going ahead on the path of achievements. The development achievements attained in Yanbu provides a clear evidence that the ambitions of the King are unlimited, and the dream of transference of modern technology is now realized". --MORE
