Four civilians were killed and 35 were injured on Saturday when a parked car bomb exploded in a residential district of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, police sources said, according to dpa. Mosul, 500 kilometres north of Baghdad, has been the scene of near-daily bomb attacks since US troops withdrew from Iraqi cities and towns on June 30. On Thursday, 35 people were killed and 63 injured - most of them women and children - in two consecutive suicide bombings in Mosul.
