The Minister of Water and Electricity Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussein paid here today an inspection tour of the Ministry's facilities in Makkah and the holy places. The minister was briefed on water projects being executed in the holy places and listened to preparations undertaken to provide the required volume of water during the month of Ramadan to meet the intensive consumption of water by citizens, Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque. The minister expressed his satisfaction over the progress of works in these projects being implemented according to the directives of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the follow-up of the Governor of Makkah Region. He urged officials in charge of these projects to execute them on time so as to serve citizens, residents, pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque.
