The Muslim World League (MWL) is participating in the Eight round of the international conference organized by the Islamic educational, scientific and cultural organization (ISESCO) currently held in Tunisia. Speaking at the conference on behalf of MWL's secretary general Dr Abdullah, Dr Abdulrahman al-Zeid, the MWL's assistant secretary general for the affairs of mosques and call, said the MWL like ISESCO is keen on holding high the banner of Islam, adding that Islam advocates cooperation and understanding. He noted that dialogue is the best way for enabling others to get acquainted with Islam and its noble principles. Dr Al-Turki said the initiative of King Abdullah has given an impetus to the process of dialogue and drawn the attention of the world to Islam. Dr Al-Turki pointed out that the international conference for dialogue organized by the MWL in Madrid last year was the most important conference held in this respect. --MORE
