The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace here today Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) and the Honorary President of the Saudi Cancer Society, who was accompanied by the chairman and members of the Society, a number of cancer patients who have recovered and a number of cancer patients who are still receiving treatment. During the audience, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was briefed on the history of disease in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the causes of the disease. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques asserted the importance of the charitable work done by Society, praising the efforts of the Honorary President of the Society as well as its staff. The King spoke of the need for early detection of this disease, as well as the importance of the Society's role in promoting the initiative to do good in this field.
