The Ministry of Health reported six new A/H1N1 influenza cases, bringing the total number of cases to 68. In a statement, the Ministry pointed out that the first case is a 22-year-old male citizen coming from America; the second case is a 17-year-old Pakistani expatriate coming from London; the third case is a 30-year-old Pilipino nurse; the fourth case is a 35-year-old Pilipino nurse coming from the Philippines; and the fifth case is a 36-year-old Pilipino nurse. These five cases were reported in Riyadh Region. The sixth case is a 29-year-old Pilipino maid coming from the Philippines. This case was reported in Taif Governorate. "Isolation procedures are being applied to these cases in accordance with the national plan for the prevention of swine flu and in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization", the Ministry said.
