Members of a medical team at the King Fahd Hospital-Al Ahsa have successfully conducted a rare tumor removal surgery yesterday. The 28 young man patient was suffering form a rare tumor located above the heart and lungs, said Dr. Abdulmohsen Al Mulhem, Director King Fahd Hospital. The success of the operation required practical skills and accuracy due to high risk because the tumor was adjacent to heart, and lung, pointing out that the seriousness of this tumor lies in its increase in size and possibility of tumor transition to a malignant one, he added.
