Britain's military says one of its soldiers has died during an operation in southern Afghanistan. The British Ministry of Defense says a solider from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards died Friday while on a routine patrol near Lashkar Gah in central Helmand province. The military said Saturday the soldier died in an explosion, according to a report of The Associated Press.
