The Iranian Embassy in Moscow says President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has put off a visit to Russia, and it is unclear whether he will come at all, according to a report of The Associated Press. Ahmadinejad had been expected to travel to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg and meet on Monday with President Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of a regional summit. But the embassy says he will not come to Russia on Monday and that further information is not available. The embassy did not give a reason for the decision. The summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization ends Tuesday. Iran has observer status in the group.
