Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Media Affairs Dr. Abdullah Alajsir stressed the importance of the issues and projects discussed by the 84th session of Arab Media Standing Committee which began here today. In a statement today, Dr. Aljasir said that the committee will discuss these issues and projects in preparation for submitting them to the meeting of the 42nd ordinary session of the council of Arab information ministers to be here on Wednesday. The issues covers development of the Arab Media Standing Committee, a strategy for the media to deal with decisions such as development of education in the Arab world, new projects for external media action, launching an international Arab satellite channel and contacts with private satellite channels. Dr. Aljasir said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia always seriously participates in such meeting and presents important views.
