Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Alsheikh has announced the issuance of the royal approval of determining the mechanisms of cooperation and integration between the council and the regions' councils and the organization of periodic meetings between them in coordination with the Ministry of Interior. The chairman considered the issuance of the order as an opportunity for establishing ideal relations between the Shoura Council and the 13 regions' councils. The chairman said the council formed a committee chaired by Secretary General of the Shoura Council Dr. Mohammad bin Abdullah Alghamdi and the membership of a number of the council to study and determine the mechanisms of cooperation and integration between the council and the regions' councils, set a program for visits and determine their nature and bases and areas of cooperation in agreement with the Ministry of Interior. The chairman said the council seeks to coordinate with the regions' councils on achieving balance among the regions in what is introduced in the Shoura Council of development programs. The chairman thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, for their support for the councils of the kingdom's regions.
