The Islamic Development Bank organized here today a symposium titled "The World After the Crisis" on the sidelines of the 34th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Finance Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf participated in the symposium delivering a speech in which he highlighted the kingdom's achievements in the monetary and banking sector and said the kingdom bolstered the banking sector to be able to weather the economic shocks giving the kingdom's economy an advantage in this difficult juncture. The minister said that effect of the real estate crisis on the kingdom was limited adding, "Now and in the future, we are committed to be cautious and we will monitor the developing dangers."
