Prince Turki bin Nasser chairs Meeting of Executive Committee of ROPME

Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Meteorology and Environment, chaired here today the 29th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine Environment (ROPME).
The ROPME consists of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran and Bahrain in addition to the ROPME Secretariat-General which is based in Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by Iranian Vice-President Dr. Fatemeh Javadi, Director General of Environment Public Authority of Bahrain Dr. Adel Al-Zayani, ROPME Executive Secretary Dr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Awadhi and the Assistant General President of Meteorology and Environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Samir Bukhari who is leading the Saudi delegation to the meeting.
