The extraordinary session of Arab Ministers Council in charge of Environment Affairs started its works here at the Arab League headquarters today under the chairmanship of Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, President of Meteorology and Protection of Environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ,and Chairman of the Council's Executive Bureau which is preparing for the economic, development and social summit to be held in Kuwait early next year. In a key opening speech of the meeting, Prince Turki said "This extraordinary meeting comes within the activities of the preparations for the subjects previously approved by the Council", expressing his thanks to the General Secretariat of Arab League for its cooperation with Arab, regional and international organizations in drafting the projects. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Technical Secretariat of the Council and Arab, regional and international organizations for their support to the Council of Arab Ministers in charge of Environment Affairs and the Council's Executive Bureau.
