A Saudi plane carrying relief assistance for the displaced people in Wadi Swat and neighboring regions in north-west Pakistan arrived today at Islamabad international airport. In statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Charge D'affaires in Islamabad Abdullah Al-Zahrani said this is the first plane within the framework of the flights due to carry more than 600 tons of relief materials. Meanwhile, Under Secretary of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry for the Middle East affairs Omar Khan Shirazi expressed appreciation for the support extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan.
