A plane crashed in northeast Brazil on Friday, killing 11 people, according to the official Agencia Brasil news agency. The plane crashed as it was approaching a runway near the resort town of Trancoso, the agency reported. The crash occurred at about 9 p.m., airport Manager James Souza told CNN. Souza said it was raining, but visibility was not bad. Souza said he went down to the fiery crash site after the accident. "There was no chance of survival," he said. The plane had taken off from Sao Paulo.
