The Saudi Ambassador-designate to Lebanon, Ali Awadh Aseeri arrived here last night to assume his responsibilities. He was received at Beirut International Airport by Head of Protocol at Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador George Seyam and a number of officials. In an arrival statement, Asiri expressed his pride over the confidence bestowed in him by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and his appointment as Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Lebanon. Asiri also highlighted the attention being paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Crown Prince to Lebanon. He lauded the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon and affirmed his desire to promote all interests of the two brotherly countries.
