Minister of Culture and Information DR. Abdulaziz Khoja visited today Imam Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University. On arrival, he was greeted by the University officials included Dr Suleiman Abal Khail, the University's Rector. Speaking on the occasion Dr Khoja underscored the important role of the university and its role in graduating press and media cadres who positively contribute to the service of the media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. "This University helps us in improving the image of the media in its comprehensive manner," he said. Dr Khoja expressed optimism about the future of the country as long as it is developed further by its sons whose creed is based on the principles of the holy Quran and Sunnah (the Prophet's 'PBUH' teachings). "Today, I witness genuine modernization with authenticity, and I found at the faculty of Call and Media, the modern technological development," he said noting that cooperation exists between the Ministry of Culture and Information and the University and that this cooperation will be enhanced further. On his part, Abal-Khail underscored the importance of the visit and said it will positively contribute to enhancing relations between the University and the Ministry of Culture and Information. He pointed out that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will soon be signed by the University and the Ministry. Dr Khoja was accompanied by Assistant Under Secretary of the Ministry for planning and studies Dr Abdulaziz Al-milhem.
