President of General Commission for Tourism and Antiques Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja signed here today a memorandum of cooperation between the bodies. The agreement includes cooperation in holding and developing relevant events as well as activities, festivals and cultural exhibitions on the national and international levels. It also includes raising awareness as well as presenting the Kingdom's tourism, culture and antiques. Then, a presentation on the programs between the commission and the ministry was given by director of Information and Public Relation Majid Al Shiddi. In a statement following the signing, Prince Sultan stressed the importance of showing the Kingdom's rich cultural, political and religious heritage as well as its active tourism sector. In another statement, Dr. Khoja highlighted the crucial role played by the commission in sending out the right message. He also hailed the efforts exerted by it in the field of tourism stressing that the agreement is only a first step in a long way of cooperation between his ministry and the commission.
