Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), today expressed personal happiness of the convoking of tomorrow's 11th GCC leaders consultative meeting scheduled for Riyadh. In a statement to highlight the meeting, he said the one-day meeting is considered a chance to contemplate and revise all paths of common cooperation among the member countries of the group. He said the meeting, to be chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will discuss the march of cooperation among the GCC member countries in all its political, social, cultural and economic aspects. They will also discuss the latest developments at the international and regional arena, particularly the Palestinian issue, Al-Atiyyah said. Al-Atiyyah has toured all the GCC member states, briefing their leaders on the preparedness for holding the event.
