Saudi Electricity Company signed today two contracts, worth SR 409 million, with two national companies to install and extend cables in a number of power transformation stations in Makkah and Jeddah within its efforts to enhance the electrical system and to meet the growing demand for electricity. The Company's Executive President Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Barrak said the company signed a contract, worth SR 223,908,000, with Saudi Company For Electrical and Mechanical Ltd. and a contract worth SR 185,302,478 with Mohammed Al-Ajimi Corporation.
