The International Islamic Relief Organization-Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) has implemented a number of health projects in Yemen within the framework of the joint cooperation agreement concluded between IIROSA and World Health Organization (WHO) for the execution of health and medical projects in some countries in the continents of Asia and Africa. The IIROSA's Secretary General Dr. Adnan bin Khalil Basha pointed out that the projects executed in some areas in Yemen included installation of water-tanks for providing large quantities of potable water to some villages, training 64 persons in health field and training 40 female midwives as well as in the fields of elimination of illiteracy, computer and vocational training.
